For the last couple days now I am having major issues with layer adhesion. I adjusted the tension, cold pulled the nozzle and even greased all the rods. I replaces my harden steel nozzle with my stainless and things are printing perfect. Looking at the nozzle there doesn’t appear to be anything wrong with it. I am thinking maybe the thermostat is bad? is that something that happens? Thanks for any help someone can provide.

Maybe it’s just the pictures but it looks like it’s bent. Do you have another nozzle to compare it to?
I thought so too, but when I compare it to my Stainless it looks about the same. My stainless prints great. I did change two things, the nozzle and the filament. after that it prints great. I move the filament to a different printer and it did the same thing. I dried it and it works great. After this print I will put the harden steel back on there and see if it was truly the plastic or the nozzle.
Did you select the hardened nozzle in the configuration in the slicer?
Did you recalibrate the filament? A different nozzle also has a different flow.

Yes it is. I have had this nozzle on this printer for about a year now. I swapped it out with my stainless steel and it is printing perfect again. I put the harden steel back in there and it started doing it again. I can only assume that there is an issue with it. Not sure what though, it does not appear to be bent.
I did. good check though.
You could try a cold pull. Maybe there are still processing residues from manufacturing inside.
Not sure what I did, but it now working like a champ. After printing with my stainless with better than average results.
I took of the extruder and it was pretty dirty with filament dust. I blew it out with air and used a Qtip with IPA and put it all back together. Put the Harden steel one back in and did two cold pulls and made sure it was clear. Started a print and it was flawless. Not sure why the stainless steel didn’t have an issue, but it looks to be resolved.
