Help with print

i have been printing some ellipsoids and am getting very weird result.

Useing eryone filament black pla
220 temp
55 bed
no aux fan
no chamber fan
door and top open

.4 nozzle and default .2 layer preset from BL.

I understand the color difference is due to speed and i tried to match both outer and inner speeds at 200, and turned off “slow down on overhang” but when i slice and check the speed tab it doesnt look like it did anything. same differences of speed show in the preview.

i also noticed when i slice this is seems like it shows everything as inner wall layer, no outer walls under layer type tab. which seems weird.

But main thing is also dont know what is happeing with the weird markings.

im running this filament with the bl pla preset profile. not general pla.

any ideas??

i also ran this print with the bl black and it had a little bit of problem right in the half way point of this model but nothing like this eryone filament is doing.

Hi @milosz.kwiat,

Can you share the slicer preview for:

  • line type
  • Speed
  • flow
  • layer time

I would try to set the outer wall speed to 100 mm/s or, better, 60 mm/s.

What PLA type are you using? Both ERYONE standard and + are not suitable for high-speed printing. Or are you using the Hyperspeed model?

This is critical, as BL filaments have a high MFR, which makes them suitable for high-speed printing. If speed matters to you, stick with BL filament or acquire high-speed models from other manufacturers.

My first guess for a solution would be:

  1. change the filament profile for generic PLA.
  2. calibrate the filament (flow and pressure advance)
  3. use the Bambu Studio 0.16mm High Quality preset and change the layer height to 0.2mm as you intend.
