New to cyberbrick and when i try to load it on my win 11 pc its comes up stating its already running asd wont install. Its def not already running because i rebooted and tried installing after a fresh reboot. Is there something this software needs that im missing? Thanks
Obviously, there is a service running, which is due to an issue with the original install. You should be able to shut it down in Task Manager and possibly even stop the service if you know how. Once done, uninstall the package, reboot, and try installation again.
If this is beyond your ability, find a helper with this type of knowledge.

Yeah I’m an IT engineer there is no service running that’s the first thing I checked and as I stated I rebooted so all services close on reboot. There is something else going on.
I’m a 5-year retired IT, started full-time IT work in 1998. Time for good old Procmon…

It could use a shared resource rather than something directly identifiable as CyberBrick.
Kill any task that you don’t recognise.
I have been writing software professionally on Windows since 1988 at the age of 15, went on to write industry standard setting software, database design, mobile apps, large distributed systems, macOS and more as well as building computers from scratch and reverse engineering existing owns.
I may or may not have murdered several people, but I am off-topic.

2 IT engineers and nobody has suggested the obvious fix, boot in to safemode and uninstall the offending program

Nothing ever Installs to uninstall
Near as I can tell, Cyberbrick SW was developed by a couple of guys who were paid a lot of bucks by BBL to create a totally proprietary infrastructure that can’t be modified. With this kind of system previous experience probably doesn’t apply and may even give you an incorrect view of the implementation.
