I’m starting a 20 cm print on my Bambu Lab A1 Combo printer. Everything is normal up to 15 cm, the print quality is very good, and it adheres well to the plate. However, after 15 cm, the print separates from the plate and falls to the ground, ruining the entire print. Does anyone know why this is happening?
Without any more info, project files, or pics all I can suggest is: Clean your build plate very well. Hot water. Plain unfragranced dish soap. Clean non-food sponge/scrubber. Do not put your fingers on the plate where the print will be printing. Edges only, or use a glove.
Tall objects should have bases firmly planted on the plate, or you may need to slow down a lot. Especially with an a1/bedslinger. Brims can help too but it really is design dependant to know what will work well. Topheavy is a 4 letter word
