P1S. I’ve only had the printer about 2 months. Only a couple hours a week printing. The wiki they have doesn’t seem to helpful. Nozzle is clean and bed doesn’t have any bulges. Any other suggestions?
If you have another build plate or nozzle, you can easily affirm the absence of builders and nozzle cleanses.
In any case, try the following despite some issues:
- Check if you are using the latest firmware. If not, update it.
- Power off your printer (literally unplug the cable) and wait a few minutes before plug-in (it doesn’t need to be that long, but it doesn’t hurt).
- Run the Machine Assistant - Self-test. Pay special attention to the test to verify if and when the issue is identified and if you notice something abnormal. If necessary, record it.
- If the issue persists, provide details about the findings during the self-test.
Well, unfortunately, this printer is at work and they won’t let me connect it to the internet.
You can however check try the other steps.
BTW, are you the only one using the printer?
I will check the other items. I have a spare nozzle but no spare build plate.
I am the only one using it
Show us a pic how you’re putting plate on bed. I had this error when I accidentally put my plate backwards.
Ok. You placed it correctly so this is not that issue. Create o ticket in customer assistance and be prersistent. At first they won’t even read your description and sent you a wiki link in return.
Btw. Does your bed moves and stops or it sends you and error right away?
It’s very intermittent. It hasn’t actually happened in a while. I cleaned both sides of the bed and it has stopped, for now
I had this error - my issue appears to be different than those noted so I figured I’d mention it. The front right vertical rod behind the lead screw has a bearing at the top. That bearing had lifted up and was preventing the last 2 mm of travel for my bed. I was able to press the bearing back into place to resolve my issue. I’ve left a question for support if this is just supposed to be friction fit, but have not heard back yet.
