No, I saw the original post before it was flagged. It was clearly spam designed to generate traffic to the AI thread.
How on earth would linking to another thread on the same forum and same board even be considered spam?
Because this thread has no discernable connection to the AI thread? It said something like “This is what I said over on the AI thread” and the link was to the top post of that thread. Maybe it wasn’t spam but I can see how it would sure seem that way.
Has by virtue of devolving into same type of point farming / model moderation problems / irrelevant contest entries topics. I’m not very long on the forums but it seems there’s at least 2 of each type active topics and they do boil down to the same or similar conclusions.
I was just trying to communicate that if you want to talk about AI model spamming you should check out the link.
Sounds like someone needs a snickers
What is that supposed to mean?
I was only trying to connect ideas. You sound like the reporter
.
Are you talking to me? Are YOU talking to ME?
I did not, but if you want to play detective I’ll give you a clue…
Only reports from “Regular” forum members in good standing can hide a post with one report. Otherwise it takes multiple different users (3-5 depending on the forum settings) reports to hide a post.
You also probably have the option to edit your post to make it visible again.
If you use the “quote” function it helps to convey what you are referencing much better than a link to the first post in a thread.
i think i saw what happened you typed about AI then you put a “period” after it and no space so it turned it into a link for example AI(dot)com
Maybe, but the link leads to the discussion, I triple checked.
