I have created a model that uses a parabolic curve in it. The curve is unsupported and prints fairly well move the most part. The problem lies when I get to the last layer of the parabolic curve where there is a curved overhang surface. I have added screenshots to try and show this. The slicer is printing the wall first before the infill which is fine for the rest of the print but cause the curve to be printed in mid air for this layer. I can get around it by printing infill first and sacrificing quality. Ideally I would like a modifier to solve this but print infill first is not an option in modifiers. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The problem is so complex that you will probably need to upload the 3MF file. However, off the top of my head, I can think of two possible solutions:
- Rotate the object by 180° so that the difficult part is printed directly on the print plate, rather than in the air.
- Improve the situation by slightly rounding off the holes
I would rather rework the 3D model, because even if you manage to print it, it will be extremely fragile at that point, that even touching it is enough to break it off at this hole spots.
You are now trying to correct the design mistakes in your 3D model using settings, which rarely works. While it is maybe possible, it is not ideal, particularly given that you may want to print it with different settings, filament or another printers at some point.
Without knowing anything about your design intent, if I was to try and make this print as is I would consider these options:
(a) Section the model in the slicer and reduce your test print to one hole only, then make several clones and apply different settings to each.
(b) You are using 1 wall (0?); try 2 and 3.
(c) Along with (b), make the wall print order the opposite of what youâre using.
(d) You are using Classic wall generator; in conjunction with the above, try Arachne.
(e) Orca has a setting âmake overhangs printableâ that slightly modifies the model and would perhaps fix your problem at the cost of accuracy. Not sure about Bambu.
There are several more settings you can experiment with that may work or not, but by selecting different options and combinations you get a feel for how each may help you in the future. Study the slicer model before printing to adjust or discard changes that obviously will fail. While learning from the above, keep in mind that it is almost always better to design for the method of fabrication, working within the limits of the machine and material.

Why is it printing the outer wall first (vs. inner-outer)? Did you change that slicer setting? Slicer issue? Is this a âonly one wall on top surfacesâ thing (though I think I see two in the shots)?
Though I canât tell for sure from the screenshots if printing inner walls first will attach them to the rest of the model better.
I can only use âouter-innerâ or âinner-outer-innerâ wall order on prints with no overhangs at all (none that protrude more than ~half the print line width, anyway).

Thanks for everyoneâs responses, I believe the problem is solved. The problem was as a couple of people mentioned is that there is only 1 wall. In the silver I have 2 walls selected. I turned of âonly one wall on top surfacesâ and this resolved the problem. Also thanks to @user.174 for suggesting making a smaller clone. This saved me a lot of filament.
