Trying out a 3rd party hotend, only to realize the connectors are not compatible. Can I buy an adapter somewhere?

Not sure which is which since you don’t say, but I’m going to assume since this is in the P1 forum you have a P1x
You would need a P series thermistor and heating element. Can purchase from the BL store or Aliexpress. Be sure it’s for the P series.

I have a P1S. The unit on the left is the Bambu unit. The unit on the right is the 3rd party unit. I should have removed the rubber sleeve from the assembly; there is already a heater and thermistor attached. I could not find the type of connector on on the bambu unit – maybe it is proprietary.
I see those aftermarket hotend assemblies all over the web, but I have not been able to find how to connect the cables to my P1S.
OK, I think you’re misunderstanding.
The aftermarket hotend you have has the thermistor and heater for the X1. You can order the thermistor and heater from the link I gave you and swap them out. Once you do that you can install the aftermarket hotend without issue.
Actually if you’re careful you could attempt to swap the one you have over to the aftermarket. You just need a little thermal paste. You can reuse the clip if you’re careful.
