Recently had to open up the extruder to remove filament jam. I put it back together, and reconnected the cables in their respective places and made sure they were connected. Then I tested in the Bambu App, each fan one by one and turned to 100% and they each turned on appropriately when tested. But when the printer is heated, it is not turning on the fan, and giving me error message that says the hotend fan is not working as shown. Any ideas why this is happening and how to fix? I have tried all the basic troubleshooting steps already without success.
Try this:
- Power of the printer.
- Disconect the fan
- Power on the printer
- Enable the fasn in Bambu Handy
- Connect the fan
Thanks! I tried that - didn’t work immediately and still had same problem. Then I did another full power cycle and a hello world print job and it fired up and started working. Bizarre
