I printed a few Items, especially where areas are cantilevered, they come out like weird, See attached images:

Looks like it needed support.
FDM 3D printers cannot print in air and so you need to either orient your printed part to reduce the amount of overhang, adjust overhang settings to increase reliability, or use supports as @johnfcoooley suggested. You can typically print up to 45 degrees of overhang reliably, but the further you go you increase the potential for degradation.
