How can I create black/white/grey picture which is not lithophanes?

I recently bought the A1 Combo, and I want to create pictures like the ones shown below. However, I want to create a picture without using LED light.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to achieve what is shown in the video? Are there any tutorials available online?
