How do I fix this issue? Need help

I almost hit the send key but caught this error in the upper photo. This is the first time using a filament other (Sunlu Matte) than Bambu Lab Basic.
First, the P1s did not recognize Sunlu Matte in Bambu Studio after installing in the AMS. I was able to find Sunlu in the filament list, set the color and ready. After the slice finish, all looked good but pressing PRINT a c opened reveling the issue. I’m glad I didn’t hit Print!

In the photo below I have the A4 filament in red. A4 is a red filament as shown in the photo and is totally wrong. A2 is a sky blue color and is preset in Bambu Studio’s software. I reset the filament to A2 but didn’t send it yet. I saved my project and closed Bambu Studio. Then reopened and tried to print again but it repeated the same error again! It will print several hours before loading A2 and if reverts back to A4 (red) it will mess up the job.

I think a solution is to correct the print window (lower photo) from A4 to A2 (Sunlu) and hit PRINT while it is listed correctly.

Go no Go? Thoughts?

Did you sync the printer & filiments before preparing?
If you go to the Objects tab what colors/slots does that show?

The colors there are just for you the human

Make sure you are selecting the right number and you’ll get the right result. I want models white to be A1… Models black to be a2… etc

For your concern about saving, making filament selections is a task you do when sending, I don’t think it saves into the 3mf. It tries to guess mapping based on color chromas, but it’s up to you to select

Yes, the last photo is of Project Filaments indicating A2 is Sunlu.

So, after pressing Print, the Print screen opens, I edit A4 to A2 (Sunlu, as shown in the 2nd photo). If I press SEND will it retain my edit to A2?

I reassembled my print as a new file and came up with the same results. My last photo is how the Project Filaments set up.

I’m going to press Print and edit Print job window to A2, the Sunlu blue, and hit Print. I’ll post in a few hours.

Maybe it will help to identify what this screen is doing:

You are being asked to map the plans-in-your-slicer to the reality-spooled-in-your-ams.
The top portion of each cell is the color your plans call for.
The bottom portion of each cell is the AMS slot identifier you are going to use to fulfill the plans.

The software tries to help you and supplies defaults that attempt to auto-match those plans to reality based on color hue, but it doesn’t always get it right. Only you can tell us which # is correct cuz you’re gonna be looking with your eyeballs in meatspace to see what is loaded in what slot in your AMS.

Thanks, as you can see in the top photo, A1-4 are set properly. A2 is Sunlu PLA Matte yet the software did not recognize this. Had I not noticed in Print job that A4 (red) was selected instead of A2 blue) I believe the printer would have printed red as indicated in the first photo inside that window. In the lower photo A2 is correct selected as I indicate after slicing.

I went ahead and made the change to A2 and I was asked if I was sure to proceed, if so confirm. I did and a few minutes ago A2 blue was printing just fine.

I guess it’s just one of those quirks and not a big deal. As a newbie it really surprised me.
