MakerWorld does not seem to allow you to choose different licenses to different regions.
Say country X is being mean to us so I want to make my model free everywhere but country X has to pay money, or perhaps they can’t use it at all. How do I do this?
edit: I also want a way to restrict use e.g. “not to be used for war” etc.

Also - there’s a quote from Game of Thrones:

Country X isn’t being mean to you - it’s Country X “high lords” playing game of thrones with “high lords” of your country. The normal people are… Normal. Limiting licence just because the people are in country X is kinda discriminatory. And if the people from country X are actually mean to you, just say something like “designed in country Y by proud citizen of Y” and those from X that don’t like Y will avoid it like a plague 
This does not apply to democracies which can choose their leader. If the leader is being naugty, it’s because the majority of the population wanted it.
I think the “solution” is to put a restrictive license in the model’s profile, and then provide a list of less restrictive, conditional licenses in the text.
That’s pretty much victim blaming. The only people running for office are people who should not be in power and people are choosing lesser evil (but that still leaves them with evil). If you restricted your models because of government of a country, what is a citizen supposed to do when they didn’t vote for them?
Also your “majory wanted it” argument is flawed.
For example in Poland, there’s 37 miillion people, allowed to vote in 2023 were 29.5 million, out of that actually voted 21 million and out of that for the current prime minister party only voted 6.2million. So that’s 16.7% of citizens, certainly not majority… For current government coallition - that’s still just 25% of population…
just set the license as restricted and then host the file on another site (such as your own) with your custom one.

Your point about needing to go to court or hire a lawyer in another country is valid. Many digital rights management (DRM) protections and licenses can be bypassed if someone really wants to break the rules, and that’s where legal action or international cooperation would come into play.
Well, in general you don’t, licensing on MW follows an international structure. You would have to post it separately, using your own licensing agreement and/or geofencing.
