I have a roll of what i think might be the support roll that came with my printer, but for the life of me I can’t remember if the roll was marked with the word support or not, it just has a tag of PLA basic, which could be basic support pla.
Is there an actual tag on the support reel that says"support"?
If not i will tag this as a White reel otherwise I’ll tag it as support. so i don’t try and print normal stuff with it.
Mine is still in his wrapper, the store page shows the typical sticker. Doesn’t the sample have this too? I would be really surprised if the support sample had the sticker for Basic PLA on it. If there is no answer till tonight, i can unwrap my sample and have a look for you.
I found the box for a reel of White Bambu lab PLA basic, I think it is most likely just that, I’m currently printing T-Rex Skeleton Kit Card by Fletch - MakerWorld as a test print, as it’s only 8 layers high and if it is support material, then it won’t matter as i never use it anyway.
At this point it looks to be Basic White PLA.
I think you’d notice straight away if it was support material. 
When it does the initial purge, support material comes out like weird blobs rather than a nice curl of filament.
Yep, the support material that came with my printer did have the correct label. It’s also pretty easy to tell if you look close because the support has a sort of iridescent pearl finish to it.
