Hi, I’m new to 3d printing. I searched the forum for a bit and could not find the answer to my question. I have printed a model that was a card. One of the parts did not print correctly. I tried to select just one part in the slicer and it doesnt allow me to. I have used the cut function but it creates an error. the model I am discussing is Air Race plane kit card (MXS-R Breitling) by pbbence1994 MakerWorld: Download Free 3D Models One of the wheel pans did not print. Thank you
It’s easier than you think to do. While it’s all one object, it’s made up of multiple parts. This means we can go into the object and remove what we don’t need and just print what’s needed.
In Bambu Studio you’ll need to change into Objects so you can see what I’m referring to above. While you are in there, you can select individual parts to delete or you can select one to move to a different plate. In the picture example below, part 13 is one of the wheels. You can see that I’ve selected it and the part is highlighted on the plate.
This should get what you need from the print.
Thank You for the reply. I could not get it to work correctly. I was able to separate the pieces. however when I tried to slice it, It will not work.
Thank you for the help!
Sorry about that, I explained it in a way that wouldn’t completely work. You are basically splitting the object up between plates. It’s now spanning the two plates and you’re trying to slice it like that, but it will fail like you are seeing.
You have two options. You can delete the other parts and just leave what you want to print. Or you can split all of the objects parts into individual objects/pieces. That’ll let you slice that plate.
Right click the main object and go to Split > To objects. That’ll take all the different pieces and make them individual parts. Then you can just slice the right plate.

Just use this print profile.
I am not sure what you are doing wrong. All you need is to delete all the other parts.
Thank you as well! I appreciate it
