How I fixed HMS-0500-0500-0001-0007

This is likely discussed in other threads, but this is the situation I found myself in today with a HMS-0500-0500-0001-0007 error. This is the sequence of events through resolution.

  • I updated my P1S days ago to 01.08.02.00 (unsure if I ever restarted it after)
  • Had about 12 hours of jobs since, no issues
  • Looking at my downloads I had Bambu_Studio_win-v02.01.01.52 installed for more than a month
  • Today while sending a print job the power went out for about 20 seconds; the printer had not started warming up yet
  • Power comes back on, printer comes back on, computer comes back on
  • Reload the job, send it again nothing happens, I see HMS-0500-0500-0001-0007 on the LCD
  • Restart the printer a couple times, restart Bambu Studio, restart the computer, the usual things & no luck, HMS-0500-0500-0001-0007 every time I send a job
  • I download Bambu_Studio_win_public-v0201.01.52-20250616155614 and install it
  • Send a job and the printer comes right to life, no more error.

It makes me wonder if there is a local cache in the app that a reinstall fixed. I hashed both files and the value is the same for both. Either way it was an easy fix and maybe it will help someone.

Worked for me too, thanks for going to the trouble of reporting and clarifying the solution to this fault.

hey i got the same problem and thats how i fixed it.

  1. go to htt ps://bambulab.com/en-eu/download
  2. download the bambu studio MAC or WIN - install it new even if u have your bambu studio says you have the newest.
  3. take your phone and tipp ht tps://bambulab.com/en-eu/download in on the browser isnt that long link
  4. bambu handy app store or android and update it (if no update shown just “open” deininstall your app and install it new via the link
  5. if there was an update just delete the data and cache in the app - found under longtab, info
  6. start the app, login your account and now the problem should be solved.

(did space between the link because i cant post links - the same link is found under the the HMS WIKI JonRaymond posted)

What triggers the fault. This post is nine days old and I just got the MQTT fault two days ago. Updated Handy on one of my tablets later that day but did not update the tablet mounted to the printter until Thursday morning.
The printer looked to be in some endless homing exercise when I got to it and was indicating an actual bed temperature of 100°C although it was really ambient temperature.
The toolhead motoring around the bed doing the homing process for hours on end was kind of concerning but once I updated that tablet it quit homing and parked itself at the purge chute like normal.

where do you go to download the bambu studio versions?

thank you so much! I really appreciate it!

Thanks so much for the post. Very helpful. I had to do exactly as you did but downloaded the latest version, 2.3.1.51. Worked perfectly.

But the real question is why??
