How support handle cases

This is how they handle support cases they have no real intention of resolving. I also stated from the beginning that I was using a high-temperature material when this issue occurred.

One of my answers to their answers:

Dear Bambu Lab Support,

Thank you for your reply, but I have to point out that your response does not address the issue I actually reported.

I am well aware of the difference between notifications and errors, as well as the meaning of a blue border versus a red one. That was never my concern. My concern is that the printer is producing repeated false warnings such as “abnormal bed leveling” and others when running extended prints at 65 °C chamber and 120 °C bed. These warnings do not reflect any real mechanical or thermal issue, and I have verified this both during and after the prints.

Dismissing this as “just a notification” is not an acceptable answer. Repeated false alarms are not harmless — they undermine the trust in the machine’s diagnostic system, create unnecessary distractions, and make it harder to notice when a real problem actually occurs.

I expect you to escalate this properly and provide a technical explanation for why these false warnings are triggered under high-temperature, long-duration conditions. If this is a firmware or sensor calibration issue, then it needs to be acknowledged and addressed, not brushed aside.

And their response

Dear Customer, Thank you for your reply, When the printer detects that the camber temperature exceeds the melting temperature of the printing filament, it will prompt an error message. This is normal and does not indicate any malfunction. It will not affect normal printing. Kind regards,

It’s sad. I guess that’s what happens when there’s no real consequences when the CS just fool the clients.

They just look which Keywords matches a catalogue of standard answers and thats it. They could safe employee costs, this is like a very poor AI implementation.

I believe you can ignore this message if your prints come out well. In the state of the actual firmware, I wouldnt be surprised about false alerts or notifications

The problem is that the printer shuts down whenever it detects abnormal bed leveling. When printing POM, this results in the complete loss of the model.

Lately, I keep receiving answers to questions I never even asked, and together with their declining quality, it’s becoming a real concern.

Use a bit stronger words, and shorter description. Better try find a chinese friend ;p or as a poor man’s resolution, ask chatgpt, to do the translation.

I have a friend from China, and I actually considered asking her to translate  But since they claim to be a global company, one would expect them to handle English properly.

According to my language exam results I’m not qualified to … Speak proper English. So yeah it can get really expensive really fast ;p

Let’s see where this ticket ends up. It usually takes three to four weeks before they give up and escalate it to second-line support, which is actually quite good in English. Last time they wasted my time on a more serious matter, I eventually lost patience and took the legal route. That certainly got their attention, but it’s frustrating to feel forced to go down that path every single time.

It’s good when you have such options available, but in some countries where only dealerships exist, taking the legal route is sadly a bit harder. And they’re still handing out authorized dealer letters left and right.

This is my biggest issue with Bambu Lab, luckily the only printer I’ve ever had a serious issue with is my A1 Mini and instead of contacting support about it I just bought a new one. I could foresee the hassle…

Knock on wood, I ever have a problem with my H2D… BL seriously needs to do something about their abysmal customer support.

Dedicated english speaking representatives seems like a rational expectation, but I doubt that ever happens or things improve. sadly.

L0rdS474n, I have been getting from BL support non answers and suggestions to do things that have nothing to do with the problem with my H2D. I have documented a 60 day discussion that started when the printer was less than 60 days old. My legal demand letter arrived at Bambu USA this afternoon. We will see what happens. I think there are serious issues with the design of the H2D print head.

Another fun non answer

My ticket:

As others have already pointed out on your forum, I’ve encountered the same issue today while trying to engrave business cards.
I positioned the QR code perfectly centered in the preview, yet the engraving ended up significantly higher on the card.

Yes, I have recalibrated both the Bird’s Eye Camera and the laser multiple times, but the issue remains.
This was not a problem when I first received my H2D Laser—I successfully engraved business cards back then with perfect alignment. Now, however, producing professional-looking results has become nearly impossible.

I recently received a replacement 40W laser module, but I highly doubt the issue stems from the hardware. There have been no other changes to my unit that could account for this shift. The only plausible cause is a change introduced through firmware or software.

I will not perform further testing on this, as every attempt consumes costly materials. I expect this to be addressed without requiring end users to troubleshoot what appears to be a systemic issue.

And their response

> Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to Bambu Lab Customer support, and we apologize for the delayed response.

1、If you wish to engrave a specific location on the wooden board, it’s important to manually select that exact point as the thickness measurement reference (rather than using automatic measurement). After that, please proceed with the engraving and compare the actual result with the intended position to determine the degree of offset.2、Under normal conditions, the deviation between the engraved position and the preview should not exceed 0.3mm. You can capture the image again after the processing is completed to judge the deviation between the actual engraving position and the position you designed. If the deviation is large, please follow the following steps:Step 1: Verify Thickness Accuracy

•

Check if the Auto-Measure thickness was used.
•

If relying on preset/manual inputs with large deviations, remeasure using the software’s tool or a caliper.Material thickness measurementStep 2: Recalibrate the Bird’s-eye Camera

•

If the camera was manually adjusted or disassembled, its position may have shifted → Perform a Bird’s-eye Camera Setup.
•

Over time, natural calibration drift may occur → Manually reinitialize the camera to correct errors.

3、Once a significant offset has been confirmed, we would appreciate it if you could upload the log file along with relevant photos to help us conduct a more thorough analysis.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

Best regards,

They already have logs from my previous attempts, but as usual, they are asking for additional logs—requiring more wasted material that they still refuse to provide free of charge for testing.

Even the replies of the staff on forum are more often than not, dismissive and generic, and frankly it’s infuriating seeing posts were users band together to try and troubleshoot something and then support assistant comes in and it’s all like “that’s not a bug, it’s a feature, just all of you are wrong” or “open a ticket and…” no come on. When an issue is widespread you secure your pants, tighten the belt and dive in to investigate. I’ve never in my life have seen a technological company (be it device or software) observing a mass report of the same issue and proclaim “yeah we hear you guys but we need you to knowingly waste more time and get more frustrated as you write again what you have already overanalysed enough in our OWN forums. Why do you have the forums then? Just take them down and keep the Reddit sub, with an automod to comment “submit a ticket” in any post marked with a TS flair. Absurd. Honestly. I don’t get a feeling of “we heard you and we are working on it” I get the feeling of “yeah nah , we don’t care enough” . And with the logs being encrypted I can very easily see them dismissing actual issues RECORDED in the logs and lying about it. Who guarantees us that they will take any action in the end of day? If an issue is outrageous and proving its existence is only possible through logs, they can very well deny seeing anything and move on with their day, and you can cry all you want because you’ll never be able to prove the point yourself. They are starting to remind me blizzard support and all the memes like “how many gms does it take to change a light bulb ? None the darkness is a feature”

Today I received the response that they require a video of the failure. They already have two full days of logs, yet they want me to repeat the issue. When I asked for compensation due to the costly material involved, they simply closed the ticket and refused to investigate further.

Frankly, this is not how customer support should operate. If you expect me to waste material and potentially risk damage to my machine, you should provide compensation, @SupportAssistant @BambuLab. When more users encounter this and possibly suffer machine damage, compensating me for performing your troubleshooting would have been far less costly.
