Hello, I just saw a video (minute 20:30) of a guy making a review of the H2D and one of his prints, the walls look amazing. I was wondering how can I have that nice texture on my print walls?. Is it something that it was configured in the slicer?
That’s no secret. Just about every filament that has CF in it will give you a finish looking like that. In fact, CF filaments are so forgiving, you are almost wasting your time trying to calibrate them.
The one on the left is PETG and the two on the right are PLA-CF.
Click to enlarge. The two models were printed on the same build plate and setting. The only difference was the filament and in the CF version on the right, I added a fillet to the edge to aid in strength.
