How to change speed when printing from the app

Hello.

I just set up my new A1 printer, and am using the app to print. I started with the Ender 3 S1, and always used either Cura or Prusaslicer for my prints, so going through the app is new to me. My question is, how do I slow down the speeds in the app, so I’m not getting the defects like in the picture, or is that something I would have to go through the Bambu Studio program on my computer to do?

Apologies ahead of time, as I am fighting a migraine, so I hope this makes sense.

Click on the “Speed” dial. “Silent” will run the printer at 50%.

If you want to adjust speeds further you will need to use Bambu Studio and reslice the file.

That’s what I figured. Just wanted to make sure. I used the speed dial and put it at silent, before I did the print in the picture. What would be the recommended speed for the best results? I’m guessing when using the app, it’s downloading the 3mf file, with the pre-installed settings.

The standard speeds are fairly well tuned. You shouldn’t have much issue with them for most parts. Adhesion is the most common problem facing people new to Bambu printers. Clean your bed with dish soap and hot water and don’t touch the bed.

Yes, the app is designed to have simple functions. It isn’t a slicer replacement.

It’s not just speed. There’s a number of things that can cause issues printing. Regular speed should get you great prints though in some circumstances slower can be better.

Humidity and moisture in the filament is another.

Never thought about that. Thanks. Like I said, I’m fighting a migraine, so my brain is only working on half it’s normal functioning, which isn’t a lot lol
