I have bought a Smooth PEI plate and want to use it instead of the textured PEI plate that is installed when the printer is new (which it is - it came today).
How do I do it? I don´t want to use force, there must be some latch or a trick to remove it gently, I imagine…
The print bed has a very strong magnet in it. Just lift up on the tab of the build plate at the front of the printer.
Thanks a lot, I have just taken all my courage and managed to do so… strangely I do not find any description; when you are new to these things, you do not want to damage something just because you have overlooked the lock that has to be opened before taking out the plate, and destroying the whole thing..

Since you are new to printing, Bambu has some online ‘classes’ you may find helpful.
