How to get reasonable support for an oloid model

I’m trying to slice an oloid shape, which has only line or point contact with the build plate no matter how it’s oriented. When I let the program place the support, it only uses a single line or point contact support, which is entirely inadequate. How can I get the program to add more adequate support?

I don’t have my printer yet, but I’m, trying to learn how to use the slicer now, before the printer arrives.

Support looks good to me.

I assume you have (or are ordering) PVA as support

There are settings that I would question, but I assume this is just a model for slicing experimentation.

PVA is a good support material, but it seems to be painted as a color on the model, not as painted support.

Random seams will leave “zits” all over the surface. Aligned seams will be mostly hidden on a sharp edge.

There is rarely a need for 60% infill, especially with a high wall count.

Is there a purpose for the pause at layer 92?

Rather than attempt to balance the model on a point, I would probably let Studio auto-orient the model, which lets it rest on a line. Normal (Auto), Snug supports seem to use the least support filament.
