Hello,
Several times now, I’ve tried to print a template made with Make My Sygn. This template contains text.
Every time I download the template into BambuStudio, in order to print it, the text that appears on the template doesn’t appear when I slice it.
I then have to color each letter separately with the paint pot tool so that the text can be printed.
I tried the same thing with a QR code. If I want to print it, I also have to paint each black dot on the QR code. Tedious work.
How can I print the whole thing without having to do anything in BambuStudio?
Thanks for your help.
Not sure about Make My Sign, but regarding basic text: If the text is raised, you can use a height modifier.
If it is not, you can select the object in the tree and color that. Personally, I first change the type to modifier to guarantuee a flush surface.
Addendum: Looks to work for Make my Sign too
Thank you.
I tried but it’s not working… ![]()
Normaly, it’s a name in white.
Here is the result after painting all block separetly :
That is strange. Can you post the 3mf file?
I post the file with the name and another one with the QR-code.
For this last, I painted all blocks one by one to print it correctly.
Thanks for your help.

This is the problem:
The text is too thin to be printed.
Thickening to 0.2mm (or more) makes it printable.
However,it is then at the wrong height. So you want to lower it again.
It will then print.
Personally, for flush text, I prefer to use modifiers. You can change the type of the object by right clicking.
This ensures a common top surface.
Here’s the 3mf.
