How should I print TPU-90A? Is it enough to use ths side spool mount and leave the bowden tube or should I mount the spool above the printer and remove the top glass and PTFE tube so there is no resistance?
Sorry if this is obvious, I’ve never printed with TPU before.
I’ve used a Polydryer box and fed it through the port in back and it worked fairly well. But it is suggested that you make the angle as straight and clean as possible. I think the spool holder should work though.

Ok thanks, if you were able to do that I may try to print while it’s in my dryer, I’ll probably run a few test prints.

Make sure to take a look at their suggestion. I cheated and got away with it, I’m assuming that isn’t always the case.

Just want to add that I print my TPU using the Creality dual spool dryer with an extra Bowden tube fed to a splitter between the AMS hub and the printer housing port. No problems at all, even printing while drying (filament is at an elevated temperature, but cools off quickly before it gets into the printer).

Will do, thanks. I will need some way to either keep it drying or in a sealed container while printing because I need to do an 81h long print with it.

Thanks, this is perfect advice lol, my dryer is literally a double spool pi from creality and I have an AMS hub on my printer.

Just one correction, I use TPU 95A, not the 90A, but since the 95A is even softer, you should be totally fine with the 90A

TPU 90A is softer than 95a and so requires a bit more care when printing. It may work the same as you print 95a, but you may experience issues and may need to adjust.
