im running some ironman magnets containing 3 colors and keep running into nozzle temperature alarms on the left nozzle when changing from silk to matte, but i do not get the alarm every change, however it only happens when going from silk to matte but not matte to silk. I am wanting to turn in my logs but the only way i know how is to submit a ticket, so do i submit a ticket even tho its working?
bambu basic pla red on right nozzle, bambu matte ice blue and ujbio silk metal series on the left nozzle.
You can, specify the time and it will create logs for that specific print or time frame.

And then create a ticket? I guess I was under the impression that tickets were only for hardware issues, lmao, not software bugs. I feel like a noob now, lol.
I did replace both nozzles, cleaned the blocks and thermistor contact patches with a brass wire brush and recalibrated after that run, just to make sure it wasn’t a bad seat from debris or anything. Running 2 color pla Venom mini magnets right now like a champ

Bambu Lab’s support really leaves a lot to be desired — it can be frustratingly poor at times. However, in their defence, if you don’t report an issue, they simply can’t do anything about it. So, if you encounter a problem that they might be able to resolve, do create a support ticket.
That said, please avoid opening tickets without first checking the Wiki and this forum — many answers are already there, and unnecessary tickets only add to their workload.
Most members of this forum are friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. Some of them have a wealth of experience they’re happy to share, so it’s often worth asking here first.
I sincerely hope you keep some of that reply saved as a quick reply so you don’t have to keep reminding people how to use the search bar, lol. It drives me nuts in the groups how little people search.
Weird thing is that the right nozzle had burned residue on the mounting surface from over-applied (sloppy-in a rush) slice engineering plastic repellent, yet that wasn’t the nozzle giving me the alarm…
Either way, I hope whatever information I can contribute can help others.
Ps, I posted it here instead of FB groups because I noticed tech from bambu actually reply here and guide users, like with my USB issue on my h2c and support replied to turn in logs to help diagnose the issue I seen. When a company does that, I applaud it because it shows they are listening.

The best way to get accurate support for your issue would be to open a ticket and provide as much information to our team + the log files. You can open a ticket from Handy and you will also have the option to upload the logs directly.
It would also be a good idea to double check the nozzles and ensure they are correctly attached to the hotend heating assembly - if the thermal transfer is not good, the temperature might change.
The interface between the nozzle and the hotend heating assembly needs to be clean.
If you share some pictures of the hotend heating assemblies for both nozzles, and the back of the nozzles, we might determine the issue quickly.

Well, I’m back after some tinkering, been putting off making a report till I could extinguish other symptoms on my end. The problem kept reoccurring more and more, and being less and less about matte to silk. I’ve narrowed it down to the 4 wires on the bottom of the heat end assembly behind the nozzle tip (thermistor wires and heater wires) having a weak connection. I don’t know if they are weak from 5k hours of use, or weak from possibly going across the rubber wiper, or from aggressive cleaning from myself, but they have either a bad solder joint or the wires are brittle and weak. I was able to bend them a little (carefully) and established a better connection. I will submit a ticket after this test run of storm trooper magnet minis, and already ordered a couple replacements for each side as I don’t think this is a warranty item at 5k hours…
