How to reset TX module (no throttle anymore)?

Hello guys, I need some help here with my remote.
Soo I was reading some stuff and I found a post for making the throttle stick work like a brake or something like that. So I was like “hmm interesting, lets try this out”. I cannot find the post so I had no idea what I really did but it was something like:

  • Start the remote with throttle down.

  • Hold for 2 sec

  • Bring throttle up

So the idea as far as I understood is that that way you program the controller Min and Max values for left stick.
So I did it… nothing happened. I rebooted it, pressed buttons (I think i was holding the reset too? not sure) moving the stick and did not see any difference and left it aside.

So yesterday I decided to show to a friend of mine what is the CyberBrick and how cool it is… But this time my truck was not moving… So left and right works as before, blinkers works, everything seems to have power.
Just to say that last time it was working I put the model away and it was just staying there. Thus I do not believe it is a connection issue.

I do believe I messed up something with the controller brain though. Searched for reset procedure but was not able to find one. AI told me to press the reset button. I am pressing it when it boots, after it boots, I am holding it for few seconds - I do not see any difference.

I am still able to connect to it via the phone, It has the same name and pin and config as before (so may be reset did not work?). I re-uploaded the config from my phone on both the truck and the remote.

Still everything but the throttle works.

So can you guys help me with what I did screw up and possibly how to fix/reset?
Thank you

Okay, so in the end it turned out to be loose connection of the motor plug. Well at least I learned out that inside the CyberBrick app there is a calibration for the sticks, a mid-point and end-point configuration

That is a odd coincidence!

In any case, the Cyberbrick remote is not a conventional RC Remote so any advice, other than coming from this forum, is probably wrong.

Yeaaah, I guess so.
For now there is not a lot of information out there. But the screenshot above is from BambuLab AI. I asked him if he can help with Cyber Brick and he said yes.
Which is cool as Google and Brave AI;s didn’t know a … poo

Ah, ok, I’ll amend my statement: Even if coming from this forum it’s probably wrong!
