How to run longer than normal bowden tubes

Due to the configuration of where I have my printer, I have my AMS Pro’s below the printer, under the desk. The tubes are about 4 feet long in all, and each “side” has a 4 way joiner - with 2 AMS’s each. 3 AMS Pros, 1 HT. I have attempted to make the curves gentle, and about 2.5 feet of the run is straight, ending in a gentle curve into the H2D. And below, there is some slack / curving on the lines that enter the AMS’s.

Are there accessories to assist with a feed that long? The printer IS printing, but it is complaining that the run is too long. I picked up some capricorn bowden tubes in an attempt to provide less friction. But no such luck.

Thanks for any suggestions or guidance here on ways to reduce resistance for my distance.

Stay away from capricorn tubes as they are the wrong size for Bambu. You need 2.5 ID, 4 OD size. Also a lot of the aftermarket tubes have subpar quality, especially if you purchase clear tubes, they can have a lot more internal friction and can cause problems. Grab some high quality white tubes, that might solve your problems. Bambu sells good quality tubes on their webshop if you dont have another source.

The motors on the AMS and the buffers on the printer assist the filament feeding.

Thanks for the feed back, I appreciate it.

Depending on your location, you may be able to get these. They are more durable than Bambu Lab’s originals while maintaining the same size. I can’t say for certain if they are superior overall, but I have successfully fed TPU 90A through mine without any issues.
