No AMS installed, external only.
Current printer firmware (just updated this morning)
Up to date Studio
Up to date Handy app
Cloud mode as far as I know.
I’m new to Studio and I’m struggling with something that should not be this difficult. I have some non BL filaments I want to set profiles for. In Studio, I’ve added the filaments in the “Project Filaments” gear icon under “Custom”. Then I created the filaments by picking “Edit” on an existing profile, and saving that edit with their new names. At first I could not get them to show up on the printers control panel. I logged off the printer and back on and one of them showed. In the Handy app if I click on 'Right Filament" I see my custom filament “Jesse PETG Black”. That same filament is available as a selection in Studio under custom.
I’ve re-synced throughout this process, trying mapping and overwriting
As far as I know I am in cloud mode. Handy app sees printer, I send prints from my desktop.
If I resync, Studio changes the filament back to the PETG Basic, not what is loaded or indicated on the printer.
So, no matter what I’ve tried, “Bambu PETG Basic” shows up with the “Ext” flag next to it and is the default apparently. Studio seems to think that is what is installed on the machine on the external spool.

Grateful if someone will give me the steps to do this right, and fix the apparently stuck Ext indicator.
