Dammit! Yes, exactly the same just happened to me. I saw the priming tower when slicing was huge, but thought it would not really print it.
Now that I switched timelapse to Traditional, the priming tower in the Preview is just 3 layers (My color change is just in the first 3 layers)
If it purge some filament and not just park the head, probably the filament sensor read that is hard to pull the filament (cardboard spool?) and think about a clogging or filament tangle and make the push pull or the spool. i solve by printing some rings for my cardboardâs spool.
We were also having this issue. We found that moving the AMS unit a little further away (so that the filament had less turns) stopped this from happening.
@Scottolsen2323 Did you solve this? Iâm having the same issue where the extruder purges every layer or so. This doesnât happen only if I am printing one object and sequence is set to âprint by object.â Also, I always have Timelapse set to âsmoothâ and âTimelapse offâ when sending to print - any help is much appreciated.
