How would you adjust a model like this?

I found this simple cleaning bottle hanger that goes under the sink. My cabinet door is a bit thicker. Is there an easy way to increase the hanger span?

Yes. You can split that part in two in the slicer, move one piece away the amount you want to lengthen it, and then add a primitive cube the same width and height, long enough to fill the gap.

With something simple like that, I would cut the hook off.

Then use generic cubes in the slicer to make it to size.

If you have access to a CAD software, this is very easy to replicate.

If that fails, send a message to the creator with some measurements and ask them to modify it.

You mean in bambu studio I believe because if you have access to any CAD software it would be very easy

I see 2 ways to do it in BS:

  1. If you don’t mind increasing the thickness and if the increase in span is not too large you can just scale the model in one direction only
  2. You can cut the model in the middle of the span, move one of the cut part the value of the increase in span and then add a cube that you size to fit the void, you then merge the 3 parts and print.

Edit: both you guys just beat me to it
