Hueforge lines

Morning,

I have created a hueforge from makerworld and printed it out, however I have been left with some unsightly lines, any help on how I can fix this would be great.

The rest of it I am fairly happy with, there was a little bit of stringing but thought that’s probably to be expected.

While I am mentioning it, how does everyone else get rid of the stringing after print, I tried a lighter, which worked ok till I had white and was left with soot.

Thanks again

Can’t tell if those are the actual surface or are showing up when a light shines through. I only print lithophanes but had similar issues when I was using the default sparse infill setting. When I switched to 100% rectilinear it went away, although your issue is probably something else.

This is printed flat on the bed? Edit: and is this a thin or thick section?

Hi

Yes it’s the surface, this is the top of the thin section and the bed is flat.

Thanks for your update, I just checked my sparse infill and it was set to the default 15% and grid, changes it now and will print again to see the difference and update you.

Looking at the setting I can see that the top surface is mono pattern which is the pattern you can see.

If you have any other recommendations that’s great, I am fairly new and still getting to grip with the settings side.

Thanks again
