For some odd reason I can no longer change the nozzle diameter of the print head using the “Printer Parts” dialog box in the “Device” section of Bambu Studio.
I can change it using Orca slicer.
I have completely deleted Bambu Studio and reinstalled it and I have installed a prior version. All with no change. I have the most recent version installed 2.1.1.52.
I have no issues printing. Just can’t change the print nozzle diameter.
Anyone have suggetions on what to try?
Bambu intentionally removed the ability to change the nozzle size from the Studio device page.
Change it using the printer’s display. You are already at the printer to change the actual nozzle.
Or, change the nozzle diameter with OrcaSlicer and then run Studio, which will reflect the change.
Thanks for the replay. I have to admit that I actually read the message “Please change the nozzle settings on the printer.” but did not realize it meant to use the tiny display screen on the printer. I just thought the person who designed the dialog box message was being polite and asking me to please change the settings using the dialog box. Duh!
OK … I did a sharp smack to my forehead and now know what I need to do.
I have to ask the obvious question – why the change?
Yes, same thing for me. This is an unwelcome and annoying change. Having to use the buttons on the P1S to navigate through menus is a pain. It was way easier just being able to do it right in BS.
