Hello,
I can’t insert a stop in my prints (I have a X1 carbon +AMS). The insert stop button is grayed out and I can’t click it. The problem is very similar to this one: Add Pause in drop down greyed out but the solutions provided do not work for me.
Do you have any idea to solve the problem?
The only way I was able to recreate this was to select “By Object” in “Print sequence”.
In the Prepare tab look at the top right hand side of the plate and click on the hexagon at the bottom of the icons.
It has to be set to either “By Layer” or “Same as Global Print sequence” to be able to add the pause.
Thank you for your help! I had to place it “by Layer”
I have tried all of these. I even opened a new window and imported the stl file. I do get the drop down, but the change filament option is still grayed out. There’s no other objects in the file and it is set to by layer. I’m about to reinstall Bambu Studio to see if that helps, but any other advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I get this only when the Build Plate “By Object” is selected.
- I opened a new Bambu Studio
- I added a new object
- I sliced the plate
- I used the layer bar and the change filament option, WORKED
I then
- I set the build plate to per object
- I sliced the plate
- I used the layer bar and the change filament option, FAILED (greyed out)
Can you double-check your settings, possibly share a 3MF?
