I'm done with Bambu forever

Yup, you’re definitely doing something wrong.

Welcome to the forum. More information about your problem would help with pinpointing the issue.

Was working great for almost a year, haven’t changed a thing except for maintenance tasks. It started immediately after I updated it two weeks ago. My issue is listed nowhere and I’m too tired of it to proceed any further. Thanks though!

Well you still haven’t explained how the nozzles “failed” but it doesn’t seem like you want to solve your issue… So best of luck with getting your printer sorted out.

I thought I needed to tweak the printer for each new roll of filament I bought. Things didn’t go all that well. One day I reset all my changes and just picked the default profiles. It worked great.

Then I ran into a stringing problem - the filament just needed to be properly dried.

I am of the opinion that most of the settings should be left alone. Or, at worst, just change 1 thing at a time because trying to change all sorts of things will be a bad time.

I’m convinced there’s a handful of folks on this forum that are professional trolls. The ratio between people that have these kinds of problems and those that don’t is massive, leading me to believe that it’s almost intentional. Especially since pretty much every one of them is a major participant in threads like this. And, they’ve all said they are “done with Bambu” multiple times, but they still stick around.

I honestly wish Bambu would give us a way to squelch them so rational people didn’t have to view their posts.

This. I’m embarrassed to admit I did this, immediately after printing a benchy I started printing calibration models and literally reading the wiki about where to edit gcode.
Honestly it was people on Reddit who kept answering questions with “try the generic filament setting before you tweak it” and other such crazy ideas I thought were nonesense. Until I tried… I have tinkered since for things like different build plate temps, and other similar tweaks, but I’ve gone so much into the direction of least resistance that I buy almost all Bambu Lab filament now because I know it’ll just work. You could not have told me this when I first got my X1C, lol I knew better! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Ooo very passive aggressive

Wait, did you have a nozzle blob that ripped your front panel and wifi antennae off?

I know a guy running a business with 10 of these that are running all the time, and he has no issues with any of them. I hope I didn’t make a mistake buying one.

Sorry to hear of your troubles

They tend to work very well if maintained well.

Treat it well, it will treat you well.

You. I like you.

According to CNC Kitchen, building a voron takes 20 to 40 hours. If you were to invest that time into getting your Bambu working…

Nah. You’ve made up your mind. Don’t look back. Double your out of pocket costs and go chase that rainbow.

they all will do that at some point, i’ve bought almost every hotend out there and i’m still looking for a good one.

You’re looking for a good hotend?
For a bambu?

Not alot of choices there, would you share what you’ve found?

There are lots now! (Lots is relative)

Both of these are officially authorized by Bambu Lab
-Panda Revo
-E3D Obxidian, E3D Diamondback

Then there are plenty on Amazon and Aliexpress CHT clones that are not officially authorized, but many people like.

I just got the E3D Obxidian, and so far it is working with about twice the flow rate.
