My printer has a static IP on an Asus wifi 7 mesh network, and is about 12’ away from the main router with clear, open line of sight. It’s not the network.
I know there are several others having this problem, has anyone solved it?
Had problems too with my Asus AX6000 after disable “WiFi Agile Multiband” the problem
was solved. but that’s my WIFI router.
If your router or internet provider can’t resolve the address, then it could very well be a network problem.
The last user who experienced this problem was able to resolve it by updating their router. That was the cause of the problem. Could that be the case for you, too? I don’t know - I’m just offering a suggestion.
For others, as mentioned, it was due to the internet provider, so using a VPN was the key to success. So yes, others have solved this using the two methods I described. Of course, it could also be something else.
Keep in mind: When using the cloud function, it is not only important that the internal network is stable, but also that you have external contact with the bambu servers. Both your printer and your router must be able to access the bambu network.
Also bear in mind that the printer uses the 2.4 GHz frequency band, so if possible, select a channel with minimal interference. You should also give the 2.4 GHz network a unique name (WiFi SSIDs) and separate it from the 5 GHz network. Make sure you don’t give them the same name, as this can also cause problems. Keep both networks separate.
