I thought it was possible to change nozzle tempererture even when using generic filaments but not it’s impossible. Is there any other way to change it?

I’m not following you, is this in a preset or while it’s printing? Not that my stupid question will really help answer you but it is something I am curious about as well.
I dont know about any firmware update issue but the only way I can do it on an H2S is to create an entire new printer and use it instead. When you put your mouse in the upper right corner of the printers icon (all the way at the top left side) a little box appears, click on that and in the popup screen showing the settings of the printer click on the save icon.
