Improvement and changes to collections

  1. Please eliminate the new Default Collection. It’s useless and every time I want to add something to one of my collections I’m always forced to take it off the default first
  2. Have the collections shown in alphabetical order. It’s so annoying having them in the order they were created

Totally agreed - both are very frustrating

I like the new default collection, but, I manually use the web version using my iPad.

I assume you are using it with Bambu Handy (BH) which unfortunately just adds it to the default before asking you which it should have gone on.

BH needs to work like the web version. Place the default at the top and then list the rest.

This means you can choose a primary collection like ‘queue’ for things you expect to print shortly and allow you to scroll down to a different collection if you are organising it for other reasons.

Ideally I would like the menu to be ordered by title with a search/filter box if there are more than say 25 collections. I a, getting on for a hundred and the seemingly random order is annoying.

I like your idea of a queue.

aarrrrgghghghgghghg. This has frustrated me a lot with the app. I would scroll on the app previously, find cool stuff, and add it to my collections. Now it’s extra button presses to get there. Not only does it add it to the default, but you have to click again to bring up the list to add it to the collection you want, then click again to remove it from the default collection, then click again to add it to the collection you want, then finally you click confirm.

It breaks the flow. I stopped using the app to just sit and find neat things because of that.

Liking mu ideas is always smart

I have lots of private collections to group my personal interests, lots of public ones to help users find related models I create.

I also have several of the private collections simply for management.

My two most used ones.

There are times BH needs to deviate from the way the web version works, due to use cases or OS features that simplify things.

This was NOT one of them.
