Infill settings

My Nephew built this stl file for me, he built in Solidworks…he has a resin 3d printer. He told me I might have to hollow out in my software. I am not sure what that means. When I slice my plate it want to repair the program but it just sits there it’s been hours… Any help on how to fix this file would be great!!

Cutting your part in half shows that it has some crazy internal support modeled into it. This is not a file you want or will be able to print.

Have your nephew send you the solid (without internal support) STEP file for your part and use that.
