At first I thought this was a fluke, but it’s happened three times already.
I’m experimenting with pausing the print to insert a decent sized 2.5” magnet. When restarting, The unit errors out with the “Abnormal Hotend Fan Speed” issue. Twice I’ve replaced the Complete Hotend Assembly and it’s now happened again. The only thing I can think of is that this magnet is powerful enough to disrupt the electronics above it enough that the printer feels it needs to stop the print and throw that error. When restarting, it runs for only a few seconds before stopping and throwing the error again.
This is on an X1-Carbon that is running the latest firmware and is being started directly from Bambu Studio that also has the latest updates.
The filament is ABS.
I can’t think of any slicer settings that may be changed from the typical profile.
