Interface material settings for ABS-GF

Hi,

I have just tried my first print using ABS-GF with an interface layer using my normal settings for ABS with HIPS/support for abs which are listed below.

Usually the materials separate with ease but with this time they are fully bonded together, presumably due to the GF content sticking to the support?

Has anyone come across a solution to this before please? I’m guessing changing the top layer height distance might help?

That’s too bad. I love the ABS/HIPS combo. I’m disappointed to hear it doesn’t work with ABS-GF. I normally use .3 for a top Z distance when not using an interface material and I find its a good compromise between not being a horrible mess, yet still having easy to remove supports.

Cheers. I did a few trials with it at varying z height and ended up at 0.2mm for interface.

I will see how it’s come out later! Was a 12 hour print so I’m hoping it’s all good
