Is there any chance someone has a picture of the bracket holding the internal air pump in the printer? I recently purchased the upgrade kit and have limited space. It’d be fantastic to install it internally.
I know I have to make a cable for it, so that’s not a big deal. What I want is the bracket, as close to stock as possible, to mount it. There is a file on MW but it’s overly complicated. I don’t expect that a whole top and bottom bracket with springs to be necessary. Just want the bracket or mounts that are seen in the replacement wiki page.
I have sent a ticket in but expect to be told to purchase the entire internal pump for $100 and I’m not really keen to do that.
Betting it’s to simplify the installation of the laser kit. Just a guess mind you. Seems to me if one is in for the penny they’re in for pound and should offer the bracket for those willing to go the extra step.
On another note, I’m struggling with deciding to buy one of the kits. With the flash price it’s way too tempting…
It’s available for purchase through support (the pump that is), obviously I don’t wanna go that route.
From pictures it looks like a metal bracket that just mounts each side to the main frame. Probably $5 in total but I’m betting they won’t let it go without purchasing the whole pump.
I already have two emergency stops, two birdseye cameras and whatnot that were included and I’ve already bought. Really like to keep that down.
Are you willing to sell one birds eye camera? Im waiting few months already for it to be avaible, but to no avail, and i do not plan to use laser module, so buying kit would be pointless
If I can’t get somewhere I may just take metal strap and see what I can do. I’d like it to look stock but I’ll do whatever I may have to.
I don’t have room for the pump on the surface it sits on and the cable isn’t long enough to reach the next level. I’ve considered creating a new cable. I have plenty of 4 pin and 6 pin cables lying around. Just seems like it’s so minimal it wouldn’t be hard to create.

With the thing selling so cheap I know I won’t be alone.
It’s cheap so I almost pulled the trigger then I know me, I wouldn’t cope with the heavy maintenance, then don’t like I could not see well through the green panels when I’m only printing, then what if I want the fire extinguisher, then the air purifier, then the material then etc, etc, etc.
I am resisting and pray that I can resist until the sale is over

For what it’s worth, I replaced my upgrade kit’s external air pump with an internal one. I ordered one from a third party - if you google Bambu internal air assist pump you should be able to see some of the vendors. The pump came with the additional required items like the tubing to ensure the length is correct as well as the screws. Installing isn’t too bad! The most annoying parts are removing all the rear panel screws as well as fishing the hose to the top where the air hose output is between the buffers. A little trick I did was I used a non brittle piece of filament and was able to fish it through in the same direction. I then heavily taped the hose to it and pulled it back through. All those years of running cabling in the past paid off! Just make sure you’re careful when you remove the part at the top as there are delicate wires fastened to it and you don’t have much wiggle room without taking a bunch of other parts of the printer apart.
Anyways, back to your original question! There are a couple of models on MakerWorld that do what you are asking. I actually printed one, but changed my mind when I saw I could get an official one. It’s definitely doable, and if you google the factory internal one, you should have some good images for reference if you want to make edits or just use it as a guide for installing. I could have sworn I took pictures of before and after. If I find them, I’ll edit my post.
I was in the same boat like you. I upgraded with the kit from H2D to H2C. I also was not happy with the external air pump dangling around my crammed space. So i tried this:
But be warned: you need 4 resonable strong springs, so that the two parts of the construction have enough separation. The buttom part which holds the external pump is way to small, so you have to print with around 105% scale. Mounting is fairly easy. But i was not happy with the overall outcome, so i finally bought an original internal air pump. Installation was hasslefree. I do not understand why Bambu Lab has not included the internal pump in the upgrade kit. The H2C works happily with the internal pump. It can be activated in the menu and is listed in the firmware page. No problems.
I tried this one, had to resize as well. It’s not for me. I ended up cutting some foam and figuring something out.
Thank you for all your ideas, in the end I think I chickened out in that it’s inside, but the wire runs out to the plug. I am a stickler for things looking neat on my machines.
Now, while I was out, Support did reply and unfortunately told me they would not show me the mount or sell the cable. The only way to get it was to order the pump. Knowing me that’ll be the way I go.
I basically cut black foam and rigged something up, running the hose up as it should but I just fed the power out the side and it’s plugged in where it should be.
I really wish BL would give us the option of installing it. They act like it’s overly technical. Really isn’t.

That top pic is the best. Shows one of the brackets clearly. Not much to it. If I have the energy later I may take the pump out and attempt to recreate. I would think ABS or ASA to be strong enough for it.
The only down side is we’d have to remove it to change the filter. I can live with that.
