Introducing H2S – Your Ultimate Single-Nozzle Printer!

Then don’t! Nobody’s making you. Stay in your X1, P1, A1, whatever… Who cares… These announcements are more for: those that are more “inclined”, versus “not ready, and making excuses”… I have 2 H2D’, I am tempted to buy a H2D, and try and do the upgrade to a “nozzle changer” simply to see the results, from Bambu kits!

And here’s a little hint: some of, to a lot of customers don’t care about other companies! They’re not competition, they’re copycats! Failed ones at best! Over a decade been on the scene, and what have they done: not a damn thing but waste of time and money…

smooth PEI - works nicely

Ordered one.
Was in the race for a X1c with the AMS 2 pro, but this one checks all (my) boxes.
Cant wait

A single nozzle printer? No thanks, not for me. Super happy with my H2D. Best ABS-HIPS machine imo.

Since H2D was released, I was hoping for this.

But this is less expensive than I was expecting, so it was an instant purchase from me.

It has all the good things from every printer in bambu line up.
I think this is a great value high-end printer. Nice work :+1:

@BambuLab How about a barebone version like P1P for $799?

One change I don’t see many YouTube videos mentioning is the H2S have gone back to an A1 styled nozzle wiper.

It’ll probably work for other filaments but it was particularly bad at wiping off PETGs from the side walls on the A1, and H2D’s wiper did a much better job.
All the other ‘cost cuttings’ are pretty sensible but this one is a bit puzzling, given that the replacement bin itself is already fairly cheap. You might need to replace the entire purge chute unit due to height differences between the two wiper designs and if it uses an A1 style 3-line wiping g-codes it’ll be difficult to swap.

Oh well, it’s okay, practically it just means PETG with a slightly higher chance at initial defects due to uncleaned nozzle tip.

1249 is way too much of an apple tax for “the same thing, stripped, but 70mm bigger” IMO

I don’t get how you can come out with a “Cutting costs” model but still make it more expensive by nearly double of the competition, lol. Is weed legal in shenzhen?

Clearly you missed

  • 340 × 320 × 340 mm³ vs 256 × 256 × 256 mm³ build plate size
  • 350 °C vs 300 ℃ nozzle temp
  • active chamber heating vs cooling only
  • advanced air filtration
  • dimensional calibration via vision encoder
  • easier to change nozzle
  • linear rails
  • USB port for flash drive
  • other fancy stuff I don’t really care about but is there

Read the tea leaves… given the events of January this year, that is clearly not going to happen.

For that, you’d need the H2DPro, just like you need the X1E now.

For me, if I was looking at getting the X1, if I wanted to stay in the Bambu ecosystem, getting the H2S instead for another 200 AU peso would be a no-brainer. However, for now I’m quite happy with the P1S + AMS2 combo, until the next generational jump. That clearly wasn’t going to happen so soon after the H2D, only another variant of the existing line.

edit: WTH… and then I see the H2C is coming, which is a generational jump within the same product family. :exploding_head:

Climate may indeed be an option… 'cause I’m located in the warmer part of that penal colony the British Empire established back in 1788, it’s just a little bit warmer on average, and it’s quite humid in my neck of the woods also. Textured plate works quite well for most prints, and supertack plate has worked great on default settings. However, I had one print, where I think I made the mistake of using PETG with it, and it definitely left a mark in the plate, probably pulled a bit of the coating off :confounded: Hadn’t had any issues with PLA for multiple prints before that. For me, the benefit was the reduction of power consumption + perfect adhesion on some more fiddly / low surface area prints.

None of these needs glue.

you meant H2S 25 characters

the German youtuber MPoxde covered this.

I don’t know much about H2D wipe system, but with A1 mini which I have been using for some time now, I have only seen petg build up with sunlu petg. Granted I haven’t tried many different brands but with bambu petg my nozzle is always clean before first layer goes down.
The caveat is there is alway a small bit of oozing hanging from it even with pla when the print ends, which I pick off when picking up the print.
That build up on the nozzle was one of the reasons I stopped using sunlu, may be that was my profile or something but I’d say better solution is to use clean petg rather than relying on hardware to clean the mess every time.

I am curious as well why they didn’t use the H2D wipe system, it doesn’t seem like much of a cost saving. Especially since sharing parts as much as possible makes manufacturing and assembly more efficient.

I just placed my order. I had been toying with ordering a H2D for a while. This solves most my issues I have with my 2 P1S. I am very intrigued by the multi-material printing, but for not the biggest thing I need is a bigger print area. All the other bells and whistles this has compared to the P1S is gravy lol.

Out of curiosity, I checked out the price in China. Based on today’s conversion rate, it looks like starting at ¥6374.15 = $891.25 USD. So we’re paying Trump’s 50% tariffs (his 1st term 25% and additional 25% currently)

I put glue on everything  If I ever lost a model because I skipped glue, I’d probably haunt myself forever

That’s not how it works, you haven’t been paying attention to the tariff impacts and CN pricing.

¥6374 is after a current 15% ‘government stimulus’, most household electronics are eligible, limited to one per person. The real base price is ¥7999 sticker minus ¥500 launch discount at ¥7499, ~USD1048. After tax. With a state tax rate of 8%, US pricing is 28.7% more.
Current A1 combo US pricing post-8%-tax is 28.4% more than CN pricing from more than a year ago.

These things are overwhelming market conditions and has been going on long before 2025, 3D printers, filaments, including resin, are just ridiculously priced in CN, every brands have no choice but to price competitively and hope to make more profit elsewhere.
Why do you think bambu added CN region locking mid-way in A1’s lifecycle? Same reason why steam games are more than 50% cheaper in some regions.

US price: $69.99

Well you don’t get the latter cutting on the X1C. It has better cameras and a more efficient heat chamber.

looking forward to picking one up in October, I dont care for the laser and have the AMS already, have been waiting for this larger build size. Many large projects planned. Now I will be able to print some US size 13 shoes

H2S ordered Wednesday in UK, got text from DX freight about delivery today, but not delivered, nothing from them, will be chasing them up tomorrow
