iPad version of Bambu Handy has problems

The newest version of the iOS version of Bambu Handy added support for the iPad.

Two main problems:

  1. The Device tab still has the same bug from the previous release. When you select the device selector, it immediately closes without any user interaction.

  1. The user interface has not been changed to make it suitable for the iPad screen. It looks like they just enabled iPad support and didn’t consider any UX changes.

Just a few examples of layouts that were stretch rather than making it suitable to the information being displayed.

These examples (loads more) could be improved by just making them two across in portrait and if landscape was ever implemented, three across.

I have all of these problems. It’s really annoying.

FWIW I’ve discovered that a quick double tap on the printer select in the app will display the menu correctly.

Worth a lot, it works for me as well.

It would be nice if it adhered to the most basic of
UX principles.

Thank you for sharing your solution. It works for me too. Let’s hope that Bambu fix this soon.

Wow. it’s like an Android app: just stretches out, doesn’t actually consider what to with the space.
