I bought my A1 from a local authorized reseller, and they contacted me to collect me replacement bed. However they mentioned in the email that Bambu is asking for the old beds back.
So I wanted to check because I didn’t see that mentioned anywhere.
I’m in the US and they did not ask for it back. I kept it for 2 weeks and then recently threw it away.

I’m considering using mine as a place to put build plates while cooling.
I have multiple plates so I can swap them out and start another print while the first is cooling.
I saw no request anywhere for returning the old heat bed… Might have a look at replacing the cable so I can use it as a spare
To be honest I will be keeping mine as spares, there was nothing wrong with the cable at all and the printer has sprouted more issues fitting the new bed!
Hmm I was skeptical about the request. This employee who’s been emailing me on behalf of the reseller said that the voucher should be spent on Bambu filament! The shop owner said that’s no correct.
I checked the recall post and found that it says “ANY” Bambu product. Even the letter from the reseller from 2 months ago said that, but it looks like this employee is trying to pull something…
Anyways, thanks for the confirmation. I’ll refuse to give them old bed back.
I placed an order for an A1 mini with AMS Lite! With the new pricing AND the voucher, the price is irresistable.
They are not asking for them back in Australia, I have received and spent my voucher.
