Is it allowed for two people from workplace to use markerworld?

My colleague has also started uploading models on the site. We work at the same place (and sometimes log in from here), but we use two separate computers (different MAC addresses) – though we share the same router and have a fixed external IP address.

In this case, should we inform the moderators so we don’t get penalized?

i haven’t faced any issues, i always upload from two different locations with no problem, as far as you are not flooding, exploiting, or cheating you will be just fine.

My colleague would also like to upload models using their own account. We work at the same workplace (sometimes we both log in from here), but we use two separate computers. I just want to make sure it’s not interpreted as me using two accounts from the same IP.

there was a reply from makerworld somewhere in the forums about having multiple accounts and they said its fine, they said follow the guidelines and there will be no trouble. (according to them)

here it is

As long as you and your coworker upload legit stuff without cheating, you are completely fine to use the same network. I would suggest to avoid boosting and liking each other.

My husband and I have separate accounts and we both upload our own models. We use separate computers that are in the same room  We’ve never had any problem. If you follow the guidelines you’ll be ok.
