I’m running two AMS through a X1C. When I look in Bambu studio in the device tab it shows all the filaments there in the kinda display traditional printers use for ink, but they all look equally full but at least two of them are halfway gone from Prints I did on my X1C. Is there a setting somewhere I need to enable to have it track the amount of filament left?
In my AMS I am only using Bambu filaments, sorry I didnt put this in the first time.

The tracking only works on Bambu RFID spools, and it needs a few revolutions to determine the amount left.

All of my spools are Bambu spools. I was using only Bambu in the AMS in order to get this benefit but it doesn’t seem to be working correctly for me.
Did you remove them? The detection mechanism works by reading the spin rate of the spool, it needs some time determine the filament remaining. It might have changed, but I don’t think this value is stored or even cached anyplace.

I have 2 rolls that are visibly half full. One of them I did remove to do a color swap, then put it back. But I have not used that color since. But the others have not moved a lot. That white roll on the right can’t have more than a third left.
But the other issue is NONE of those rolls are full rolls, every one of them is down at least 15% but they all show full. And they are all Bambu and all have only been used in this printer.

Is this feature limited to the AMS unit or is it also on the AMS Lite?
AMS/AMS2Pro only… the AMS Lite doesn’t have this option. Given the working principle is to basically track how fast the roll turns using the RFID tag as the marker, it seems to be a deliberate decision not to support it.
The working principle is to estimate the percentage of the remaining filament on the spool by the length of the filament sent out after the RFID tag on the spool rotates a full circle. The complete 1kg filament roll is 100% capacity by default.
I’ve got the settings checked as above, but all I get is the “inkjet printer” display… I’d love to have numbers, even if they’re approximations.
