Is the TPU Feed Assist Module Worth Buying?

Hi,

I have had good success down as far as TPU 60A by sitting the spool above the printer, but its a minor pain setting it up when I need to print TPU.

How good is the TPU assist?

Also, I find my AMS2 struggles with 1kg spools from other manufacturers and I have to respool them down to 2 x 500g spools when I buy them. Im wondering if it will solve this problem when I dont need to switch between more than 2 filaments. :thinking:

The feeder is not rated for 60A, you would need to manually feed. Now not saying it does not work, but BL say it will clog the feeder. I have used 85a from a AMS HT bypass with no issues

I find it produces better prints than I could manage without the feeder, although it sounds like you’ve done a lot to optimize your setup, so you may stand to gain less.
