Is there a glass-smooth, shiny, build plate for the X1C (or P1S)?

My question was not about the self-adhesive backing but whether you use a glue stick between the kapton and your print.

Mine came today although they shipped it rolled up, it got squashed and is creased.

Generally I don’t use any glue on the Lapton surface. However, I do have a couple of spools of translucent fluorescent PLA that require assistance from time time. On those rare occasions where I would use the Kapton topped plate with those spools, I have been known to use a light adhesive. I’d say that’s less than 1% of the time.

Don’t mess around!!! That is whole reason for using Amazon in the first place. Send it back on their dime and make sure you put in a claim that the material was improperly packaged and damaged as a result. Odds are, they won’t even ask for the old stuff back and just send out new material. I promise you that you will get angry at that crease. The whole point of those sheets is that they come perfect shaped and are completely flat. There is no reason you should be forced to compromise.

Been eyeing the Darkmoon LUX Build Plate for my Bambu A1.
Anyone have experience

@Jerry3D May have a look into:

I’m unsure how it compares to @Olias 's specular build plate, or even what it’s made out of.
