Is there a way to compare configurations

I have a hard time to understand why a small print would take 42 minutes with pla and 2 hours for tpu.
I checked the configuration files, cannot find any difference !!!
Would anyone know if there is a way to compare configuration files for filaments. I recently update the configurations and my tpu config disappeared.
is there a way to debug configuration, print configurations ??
compare configuration ? this would prevent the generation of multiple versions with unknown parameter changes.
thanks

Check speeds.

It’s all about the “Max volumetric speed” of the filament.

The printer will slow down the printing time if the filament volumetric speed cannot keep up.

Generic PLA has a max speed 12 of where generic TPU has a max speed of 3.2 (mm^3/s).

TPU 95A is a very different type of material than PLA, they are structurally different and the ability to print a flexible material is very difficult at speed.

There are other formulations of TPU 95A like TPU HF that allow you to print it faster as it is designed to print at a high flow rate. But, 95A will not print as fast as PLA can.

The new TPU for AMS isn’t 95A it is a 68D a harder material it can and does print as quickly as PLA and rather well.

Max volumetric speed is set on the filament profile.

You could in theory change the MVS of the TPU to match the MVS of PLA and the printer would attempt to print it at the same speed…

But, I doubt you’d be happy with the results.
