Is there a way to skip the initialization process?

Before printing starts the printer spends a lot of time pushing filament through the nozzle and purging it to prep for the print (even if the previous print used the same filament).

My biggest issue is if the print starts with an issue and I stop the print to clean the plate and restart, it goes through the same process just pushing filament into the poop chute. Is there a way to skip this when it just did it 30 secs before?

Yes there is. Machine start g-code

It doesnt seem to be a simple process to just skip that at any particular time

If you pause the print, it doesn’t do this. Stopping and restarting does it all again.

As mentioned, you can change it in the gcode and save it in a separate profile.

More details here My H2D keeps "changing" (and pooping) the same spool every print - #5 by Gerrit
