Just for history.
Model after 24hrs on MW front page and top of contest page. This is real users interest.
Those bots aren’t working. The first picture you shared only has 200 members. I couldn’t find the group with 108k members.
Just to clarify, you tried to use the bots for downloads and it didn’t work?
There are some sort of shenanigans going on.
Hmm, but how do you think they did that? They could have gotten it honestly…
One way to honestly do that is if they had a bunch of Instagram or TikTok followers that they promote to every time they release a model. But I’d think if they had a big social media following, they’d at least include a link to it in their MakerWorld bio.
The models themselves are decently made. They are multicolor but designed so that there aren’t a lot of color swaps and they print relatively quickly.
No it’s not cheating, it’s Easter, there is an egg contest and I like also the idea.
I don’t get why you should consider that.
Yes,I tried. When you click on these bots, they prompt you to enter keywords or similar, but nothing happens after you input them. It’s likely because no one is maintaining these bots.
Hi there, are we still talking about AI designs?
Because I need one to design name tags for my daughter volleyball teammates. Any suggestions? At this point you should be experts on the topic
For name tags I used MakeMySign with good results and in just few minutes https://makerworld.com/en/makerlab/makeMySign?from=makerlab
Hey, uhh I clicked on the link, but didn’t input any info cause I realized it could be a scam, and I’m wondering if if my account is still at risk? Nothing happened so far but now I’m kind of worried. I did this a long time ago before seeing this forum post, so yeah.
It seems to me that this is a common marketing ploy.
