Those bots aren’t working. The first picture you shared only has 200 members. I couldn’t find the group with 108k members.
Just to clarify, you tried to use the bots for downloads and it didn’t work?

One way to honestly do that is if they had a bunch of Instagram or TikTok followers that they promote to every time they release a model. But I’d think if they had a big social media following, they’d at least include a link to it in their MakerWorld bio.
The models themselves are decently made. They are multicolor but designed so that there aren’t a lot of color swaps and they print relatively quickly.

It seems to me that this is a common marketing ploy.
